Excuses for Sustained Absence

My mind has been elsewhere, as has my writing. I have been thinking outside the blog. Hence, no posts in over a month. For those of you who have been reading my posts about the publishing world and my take on its future, you would not be surprised if I told you that’s what I’ve been thinking about. After a really good conversation with my dad about my frustrations with traditional publishers, he made a comment that changed the way I look at publishing. This blog was my first step in trying to revolutionize the publishing world. I had a vague idea of how I would do it, but the last few months have proven its futility. Then, with my dad’s comment, a door opened and I saw how we could really make a difference.

I don’t want to get into too much detail here. We’re still in the first stages of research and don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up in case it doesn’t work. However, with a lot of work, awesome supporters, and God’s blessing, we may have an ideal place for artists of all media to publish without giving up any rights.

Here’s to making dreams come true.
